About the Instructor

Abdullah Anwar memorized the Qur'an in California before beginning his formal Islamic studies at the age of 16, when he moved to Dallas to complete the five-year ʿĀlimiyyah program at Qalam Seminary. He serves as a TA and assistant instructor at Qalam, teaches at Kitaab Academy, and works with multiple masājid and organizations throughout the Dallas area. In addition, Abdullah is currently pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Counseling, seeking to combine traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary challenges.
